In order to improve the security of M-Pesa reconciliation, we have updated the system with a new optimal solution by adding more rights on controlling of receipt issuing in the system. To improve security and avoid fraud.
- Where people are abusing the manual posting of receipt by entering fake M-Pesa transaction codes, furthermore on the M-Pesa reconciliation process of uploading the excel sheet by adding more rows and changing the transactions modes in the excel sheet.
– To control that we have added a right on uploading M-PESA C2B reconciliation worksheet, this right allows you to upload, download and delete an uploaded worksheet, therefore those who do not have the rights will not be able to do those actions.
Note: If you don’t want people to receive payment manually you can remove the right of standard receipting and expressing receipting which are both separate from, the receive tenant payment rights and enforce only to be reconciled M-Pesa C2B transactions only, then you as an administrator, you restrict the right for upload M-Pesa C2B worksheet to only administrator.
